The Central Region is home to Ghana's most iconic landmarks. Weekend
excursions take you beyond the pitch, historic castles, rainforest
canopy walks, and coastal towns.
Cape Coast Castle
A major historical site with dungeons and the "Door of No
Return," detailing the history of the transatlantic slave trade.
UNESCO World Heritage site, just 30 minutes from camp.
Kakum National Park
Known for its rainforest canopy walkway, offering a thrilling
high-altitude view of nature 40 metres above the forest floor.
One of only a handful in Africa.
Fort Amsterdam
A historic Dutch colonial fort in Abandze, Central Region.
One of the lesser-known but fascinating heritage sites along
the Gold Coast, offering a quieter, immersive historical
experience.
Elmina River
A scenic river flowing through the historic town of Elmina.
Take a peaceful boat ride, enjoy the views, and experience
the beauty of the Central Region's waterways.
Baobab Beach Resort
A beautiful beachfront resort perfect for relaxation and
unwinding after a week of training. Enjoy the ocean breeze,
swimming, and authentic coastal Ghanaian hospitality.
Safety
Safeguarding & Safety
Player safety comes first. Here's how we look after everyone at camp.
Child Protection Policy
All staff and coaches are vetted and trained in child safeguarding
procedures. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards
abuse, bullying, and discrimination. Players aged 15–17 are
subject to enhanced supervision protocols.
Medical Support
On-site first aid is available throughout the programme. The
nearest hospital is within 30 minutes. All campers must provide a
medical information form and emergency contact details before
arrival.
Insurance & Liability
All participants are required to hold valid travel and medical
insurance for the duration of their stay. Sacred Vision provides
on-site supervision but participants are responsible for their own
insurance coverage.
Emergency Procedures
Documented emergency action plans are in place covering medical
emergencies, severe weather, and evacuation protocols. 24/7 staff
supervision ensures rapid response to any situation. Parents
receive emergency contact numbers upon registration.
Staff Supervision
Dedicated staff provide 24/7 supervision for all residential
campers. A designated welfare officer is available for any player
to speak to confidentially at any time during the programme.
Parent Communication
Parents and guardians receive regular updates via WhatsApp
throughout the programme. A welcome pack with all policies,
emergency contacts, and daily schedules is provided before
arrival.
